What makes a good candidate?
- Board meetings are recorded and publicly available
- Transcripts or auto-captions exist (or meeting videos do)
- The board has adopted written student outcome goals
- Publicly available meeting schedule or archives
- Any board — high-performing or struggling — qualifies
- District size doesn't matter; governance quality does
